The basic core for your Color “U” Energy food for energy is to eat food from every color of food group every day. Colorful veggies offer powerful health benefits besides natural fiber, vitamins and lots of minerals.  

RED: Sexy and Sensual

Red contains lycopene an antioxidant that that improves memory, detoxifies the blood and protects the heart.  Lycopene is contained in apples, cherries, guavas, pimentos, pink grapefruit, red peppers, pomegranates, strawberries, tomatoes and watermelon.

PURPLE: Fame and Recognition

Purple and blue anthocyanidins are powerful antioxidants that reduce blood cholesterol improve vision and nervous system function and improve and improve retinal tissue. They are found in purple and blue fruits and veggies like red beets, blueberries, currants, figs, grapes, plums and most berries.
