Alternative Interior Designs – Welcome!

Feng Shui teaches us lessons and these lessons are simple. You cannot always seek to change your life as this, will produce “chaos”. However, you can change your life to change your world. The first rule of the game is to see the world and how you participate in it. To do this you need your world small enough. This small world becomes your scope to study for personal growth.
Small business is a world to study discipline and needs. Innovations are your qualifications to develop your discipline. With practice, you will and can discover personal limits, weaknesses with strength for power. This will help you to discover what really works. and what does not!
In Martial Arts, there is no imagination; just skill or you get killed. Practice is your reward for innovation with orchestration. This same belief is required for doing business daily. Learning to expand beyond your own self-imposed limits can become your inner wellspring for development of whole.
Each one of us, become the innovator, maintainer and doer. Using your heart and head you can create a business that is as large as a planet and as large as the universe. After all, universal flow is for life and living and don’t forget giving.
The ancients often say-
*When you hear something, you will forget it.
*When you see something, you will remember it.
*But not until you do something, will you understand it. This is knowledge.
Working with the body, mind and spirit requires full engagement of your self. Intelligence with reason and intention are your keys for success.
Giving teaches compassion. Compassion is your key to success to turn your dream to reality.

What’s Wrong in Your Kitchen? Let’s Make it Right
June 16, 2011 By Carole
Are you feeling unappreciated, feeling overwhelmed, and having many arguments at home? Well it may be as simple as fixing what’s wrong in your kitchen and making it right.
Wrong: By the stove or sink, is your back to the doorway? You may not be seeing new opportunities.
Let’s make it right: Place a small mirror there in these two zones.
Wrong: Are your cabinets chipped and old? You may be feeling neglected too.
Let’s make it right: Apply a new paint color or a new handle on things.
Wrong: Is your center island your office? Filled with bills, invoices, and mail? This hub may be creating too many arguments.
Let’s make it right: Get the heat out of the kitchen and place a beautiful bowl there filled with fruit, or a vase filled with flowers.
Wrong: Is your refrigerator filled with no food, only a liquid diet or take out and leftovers? You’re not appreciating or nurturing yourself.
Let’s make it right: Fill it with fresh fruit, veggies, yogurt and nuts, in colorful storage containers. Great for when you’re snacking on the run.
What’s wrong in your kitchen? Old thoughts, old negativity? Let’s make it right. Spritz and clear with essential oils of sage and cedar, with my “Purify” mist.
I consider the kitchen to be the heart of your home. It’s a place of nurturing to yourself and to others. Remember to nurture yourself to create a wellness center in your home.
If you have any questions or comments, please leave below. I’d love to hear what’s going on in your kitchen.
Find Your Balance – Find Your MoJo

Aqua Part 2: The Harmonic Challenge: Find Your Balance, Find Your MO-JO
Do you often find yourself out of sync, out of balance, and just feeling off? A very simple way to help you get in touch for balance in your life is no different than hanging a beautiful hammock in your backyard or terrace. You may find yourself first asking: “Where can I hang my hammock?” and this question will lead you to find two structures of support, of equal height and equal weight. This simple exercise you may apply in life as you shift and readjust yourself and your hammock. When the wind picks up, you may have to shift and readjust your goals with new directions. However, when you recognize the two opposite points, this will always give you your center point, yourbalance point.
I began seeking my inner balance point (centering my body) when I trained as a dancer- it is a very required skill- to dance is to balance. I first had to learn to spot (dancer’s term: to focus), plié, bend my knees, relevé (which is to pull upward with my legs and arms in sync), and if all systems were in perfect alignment (in balance), what a wondrous feeling of stillness of strength. I still can hear Madam Nevelska shouting, “pull up your arms!”, “pull up your abdomen!” and “pull up your legs!”
Pull up your center, pull up your energy and keep dancing. Many of my friends are artists and artisans, and I have noticed many of them pursuing the same word: “Balance”. To find balance is key for placement, form, and color alignment. When you discover the balance point, your art and your self are in flow with harmonic energy. This path, as my master often described, lies in locating the two extremities and then creating a visual center line. As he often said this, I often found this evasive.
Whenever you are pursuing the art of balance, there is a very simple formula for you to follow. You first locate the two points of extremities, and then cut it in half, or as I say to my clients- split it in the middle. The center point is your MO-JO, your muscle both metaphysically and metaphorically. You can apply this easy exercise often when you are seeking balance in relationships, balance in design, or even to create a balanced meal. This formula is fundamental, a skill to hone to help you align mind, body, and spirit. Like nature which always changes, to find harmony in life is a pursuit to find balance in your lifestyle and living.
