Ready for a Healthy and Successful New Year? Tips to Achieve Your Goals
We are moving rapidly into the holiday and welcoming a new year! Most of us will be making new year’s resolutions like, “I will lose 20 pounds” or “I will get a six pack”. While those are not bad resolutions, they can be difficult to obtain and may bring disappointment. This year take the first step and resolve to focus on being healthy. Your health isn’t just eating well, though that is a huge factor, you must plan for your mental health, as well. Planning for both mental and physical health will enhance your wellbeing.
Here are some tips for a Healthy New Year!
- Breath is powerful. Learn to breathe to control your body during extreme physical exertion. Learning to breathe can, also, keep anxiety down during times of emotional distress
- You don’t need an hour-long class to meditate. Take a few minutes a day to meditate. You can meditate in the car, at lunch hour, or even in the airport. Set an intention for the day. Download my app or follow me on Instagram, I post daily meditations.
- Set Goals. Setting goals will keep you focused throughout the day to achieve the feeling you wish to obtain. Set short term and long term goals.
- Have a buddy. Making a resolution with a friend provides a support and double the will power!!
